NatureThe largest remaining contiguous wetland in northern Middlesex County — the 'everglades of Central Jersey.' Beavers came back to the Bound Brook headwaters here after nearly a century away. The trail network connects through Metuchen and South Plainfield for hiking, birding and wildlife viewing.
Culture & HistoryOn the very grounds where Thomas Edison perfected the incandescent lamp, the Menlo Park Museum and the 1938 Edison Memorial Tower sit in a 36-acre state park with a nature trail. Guided tours play original 120-year-old phonographs and climb the tower; open Thursday through Saturday.
SchoolsEdison is New Jersey's sixth-largest municipality, and its public school district serves it with two comprehensive high schools — J.P.
